Rebates
All psychologists at Align Psychology are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Medicare.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician you can claim a rebate between $98.95 – $145.25 per session, up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Other rebate options may be available depending on your circumstances (e.g., Eating Disorder Plan or Chronic Condition Management Plan). We’re happy to help clarify your eligibility.
Alternatively, you may be entitled to a rebate with your private health insurance. Please check with your health insurance provider
How do I claim?
Bring your Mental Health Care Plan with you to your initial appointment. Payment of the session fee is due on the day and you will be rebated into your nominated account in 1-2 days.
Other Funding
Other funding is available – Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), Workcover or private health insurance (please refer to your insurance policy) - Please contact reception regarding fees and billing process
