I am a clinical psychologist who has worked for the last 8 years in public mental health settings with clients who present with multiple and complex needs. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults with various mental health issues and will be available to see clients 16 years and above.
My aim is to get to know you, and establish a solid foundation for a positive working relationship. Together we will navigate through a shared exploration and understanding of your mental health difficulties and tailor a treatment plan for your individual needs.
My main areas of clinical expertise include working with individuals who have depression, anxiety, self-esteem/identity issues, interpersonal problems, emotional dysregulation, suicidal or self harm thoughts, personality disorders, trauma and PTSD. I have also worked with people who present with neurodevelopmental disabilities including; autism, ADHD and intellectual disability (Mild).
I will typically draw on various techniques in therapy, with a focus on:
● Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
● Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD
● Schema Therapy
● Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
