I am a Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist at Align Psychology.
As a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience in mental health (public and private), I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate their unique challenges. My approach is highly collaborative, working alongside clients to foster transformative change and personal growth. I have a special interest and extensive experience working with trauma, including childhood trauma, interpersonal trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD.
I also provide support for those dealing with mood and anxiety disorders such as depression, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, OCD, generalised anxiety; self-esteem; substance use and addictions; personality disorders; stress; grief & loss and anger management. Additionally, I work with couples facing conflicts, striving to rebuild connection, repair and address issues such as attachment and ADHD in relationships. I have also conducted research and I am published in the area of therapeutic interventions for psychosis having investigated the active components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for psychosis.
